Aceeca Meazura Rugged Digital Assistants (RDAs) are innovative handheld computers running Palm OS 4.1.
Designed for industrial use,
they are dustproof and waterproof to IP67 standards.
Each Meazura RDA comes with infrared (IrDA) communications, a rechargeable long-life battery, AC adapter, a choice of serial or USB communications cables,
and software (for synchronisation of files with a PC).
Options include an integrated barcode scanner, Bluetooth wireless technology, CompactFlash expansion module, desktop cradle, padded holster, and 12V vehicle charger kit.
The Meazura RDA runs Palm OS 4.1, and is less expensive than Windows CE or Pocket PC based devices. It has a monochrome screen with adjustable backlighting
to allow use in a wide range of lighting conditions.
